TOTS GO '30 DAYS WILD'...
Join us in the month of June and get involved with The Wildlife Trusts' 30 Days Wild challenge. Can you do something wild every day for 30 days? Alongside our usual fun activities we will be encouraging little people to collect stickers and activity cards to use at home to learn more about the popular campaign. So get outdoors and GO WILD this June. You can also sign up to the campaign online at wildlifetrusts.org/30DaysWild

Plan your fun! All of our sessions are centred around child-led exploration and play as much as possible. BUT we also like to try new ideas each week and start each session with a theme and some guided activities for parents to enjoy with their children. Take a peek below to get an idea of what we will be getting up to over the next few weeks!
(7th June) Weather Watch: Catch the rain in an up-cycled rain gauge, create a beautiful shiny wind mobile and collect materials for a rainbow inspired sun catcher! Wild and windy fun with bubbles, crafts and lots of sky gazing in our lovely woodland hammocks.
(14th June) Bat Ears: Test out your listening ears and discover the magical sounds of the woods. Create your own noises at our sound bar and make a beautiful mobile to add some music to your garden. Rustly creature crafts, wild wind mobile making, noisy nature sounds and crunchy campfire snacks!
(21st June) Eco Art Attack: Can you make your own colours using mud and natural treasures? Mix up a storm in our recycled paper station, create some eco-paints and have a go with our DIY paintbrushes!
(28th June) Rabbity Noses: Wiggle your noses for a week of smells and tastes! Help us plant wild flower seeds, learn how to attract pollinators to your garden and make a tasty snack for the campfire. Plus! Rabbit tail crafts and wiggly songs to finish.
(5th July) Tree Sculptures: Create some beautiful land art, build a giant tree sculpture using recycled cardboard boxes and get crafty with leaf creatures and clay! Outdoor creative play and LARGE scale crafting!
(12th July) Owl Eyes: Do you have the sharp eyes of an owl? Explore the colours, shapes and wonders of the woods with a colour rainbow treasure hunt, flower potions, nature paint mixing and fluffy owl crafts.
(19th July) Spider Senses: Can you find something fluffy, crunchy or squidgy? Learn to weave your own spider nest, make a 'pooter' bug catcher and get busy in the tool zone with our 'tap tap' hammers.
All children will receive a sticker for any wild activities they have taken part in. This year we are taking part in the '30 days Wild' challenge so come along and fill in our outdoor challenge chart and get some info about the fabulous scheme bought to you by The Wildlife Trust. You can carry on the fun at home!
